Tractorworks Building

Two Elevator Interiors

Prematurely aged and distressed design elements reflect the building’s history as a John Deere tractor factory. The lower wall panels are made from prematurely aged perforated steel while the upper panels are faced with laminate. The suspended island ceilings include painted metal sections, downlights, & fluorescent perimeter lighting. Adding to the “matured” ambiance, lacquer was applied to the surface of the handrails. This project was completed in 2008 and photographed in 2018.
